How to open a startup in Water Resources ?

StartUps can bring fresh perspectives and creative solutions to address water scarcity issues.  - By focusing on innovative technologies for water conservation, start-ups in water resource management can develop sustainable water management practices that promote water recycling and reuse.  - Case studies of start-ups like the present one, which implement IoT solutions for efficient water usage or create mobile apps to track water consumption and encourage conservation by providing digital water audits, showcase the impact these companies can have on addressing water scarcity.  - The benefits of start-ups in water resource management are vast, as they bring fresh perspectives and creative solutions to the table, ultimately helping to tackle one of the most pressing global challenges of our time. - By promoting innovation and collaboration, StartUps can help drive progress towards achieving global water sustainability goals like :  - Increased access to clean water in unde...

How to remove pollutants from urban water ?

If you use a filter to produce drinking water, it is better to evaluate the source of water and available types of filters before its application. This ppt will show the process of selection of a filter configuration for urban water sources. How to use seesaw to pump out groundwater ?

Recently I found a Linkedin video where groundwater was extracted by a seesaw in a school. Its a nice idea as both energy and water is scarce and if we can use the momentum generated due to the movement of a seesaw to replace pumps for extraction of groundwater, then a sufficient amount of electricity can be conserved.  The harmonic motion of the seesaw can be converted into a linear motion of a tube-well to collect ground water. It is totally a zero energy concept which can be implemented where required. As seesaw is inexpensive the entire system will be cost effective.

How to use supplied water to save energy in domestic households ?

A new method of distribution for the supplied water is proposed for a domestic house holds where water is distributed in such a manner that energy used to run the pump can be reduced drastically. Although this method is still a idea the success of the system is yet to be established. How to Monitor Water Quality in the pipelines of a Water Treatment Plant (WTP)

The objective was to Monitor Water Quality in the pipelines of a Water Treatment Plant (WTP).We want to use a free GIS software to achieve this objective.Download the presentation and watch how we accomplice our objective. DOWNLOAD DO YOU KNOW ? Water purification is a process of removing undesirable chemicals, materials, and biological contaminants from contaminated water. The goal is to produce water fit for a specific purpose. Most water is purified for human consumption (drinking water) but water purification may also be designed for a variety of other purposes, including meeting the requirements of medical, pharmacology, chemical and industrial applications. In general the methods used include physical processes such as filtration and sedimentation, biological processes such asslow sand filters or activated sludge, chemical processes such as flocculation and chlorination and the use of electromagnetic radiation such as...

How to sponsor a tree and save some amount of carbon to prevent global warming ?

Let's first take a test. Can you answer the following questions : 1.Carbon dioxide gas can increase the atmospheric temperature because : 1.It traps heat energy 2.It traps air 3.It traps the outgoing energy and also reflect some of it back to earth 2.Plant absorbs Carbon dioxide in day and emits the same in night : 1.True 2.False 3.The absorption of Carbon dioxide gas by plant can reduce the amount of the gas from the atmosphere : 1.True 2.False 4.If Carbon dioxide is completely removed from the atmosphere then earth will freeze : 1.True 2.False 5.Industries are the highest emitter of Carbon dioxide in atmosphere. 1.True 2.False 6.If industry is more and area of plants are less then Carbon dioxide will rise : 1.True 2.False 7.A big tree is equivalent to its sapling if CO2 absorption capacity is compared : 1.Yes 2.No 8.Carbon credit is giga ton of carbon saved by some entity and which can be sold to some who is emitting that amount of Carbon. ...

How to conserve water with the help of W.C.C ?

‘The world is running out of potable water and a major policy initiative to guarantee freshwater as a human right is required. In a most interesting article from the Guardian, Jeffery Sachs of the UN's Millennium Project notes the world simply has "no more rivers to take water from". And the near total lack of basic water policy for the future is noted, such as how aquifers to be recharged are and how to sustain ground water use? For some time I have thought that a major water shortage crisis that ravishes millions may, even more so than climate change (though it may be the cause), galvanize the world to realize the extent to which the global biosphere teeters upon the edge of ruin. Then we may see the surge of personal lifestyle changes and policy prescriptions from governments and businesses adequate to achieve global ecological sustainability. The article notes that not only are China's and India's water supplies threatened but their food production as well. T...
