Any paper copy of maps can be converted into a digital map displaying real-time data with the help of GIS software. Here point shapefile is used to represent placemarks whereas line shapefile is applied for depicting roads, pipelines, etc. and polyline or polygon shapefiles are used for the representation of the area.
